A white woman, a gorilla mask dons
And attempts to thrown an egg on
A black candidate
Whom she deems unfit
Chalks him up as a token black pawn

Apparently the irony is lost
The bounds of "agency" now have been crossed
For she "knows" far better
How blacks have been fettered
(Not the guy who grew up in Crenshaw!)

So moral narcissism still rules the day
Until reality gets in their way
First black governor he'd be
In eighth-largest economy
But 'evil Republican' is all they portray

But one more thing before you move on
The lack of coverage? Quite troublesome
If that happened to Warnock?
'White Supremacy!', they'd squawk
Racist attack would be conclusion foregone

So the media continues to give cover
To their fave side, but not to the other
Complicitly abets
And ignores physical threat
Of a hate crime on an opposing-side brother
